(Payson, Arizona - effluent recharge-lake park, after using BER fertilizer)

**The NGCSD plant was awarded the 1996 Arizona Pollution Prevention Leadership Enhancement (APPLE) award by the EPA and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, because of the BER process;

**The NGCSD facility was awarded the 1999 Plant of the Year by the Arizona Water Pollution Control Association, because of the BER process;

Biosolids handled and disposed of as a waste, wastes a valuable resource and can continue to cost a community and its environment in dollars and quality of life;

The BER process is an enlightened manner and method for the handling of an "essential service" wherein both the community and the environment are served economically and efficiently;

BER allows a WWTP to meet and exceed the mandates of EPA Rule 503, and to practice "beneficial reuse" in the most commercially appropriate and economically viable manner available.

Biosolids Enrichment and Recycling makes operational, economic and environmental sense, and solves a problem that will always be with human habitation.
